The Battle of Gettysburg was an American Civil War battle, fought between July 1 and 3, 1863 around the town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as part of the Gettysburg campaign. It was the battle with the most casualties in the United States.

Russia became the first Communist country. Communism eventually spread to small countries near Russia and eventually spread to Cuba, China and Vietnam.
