Find the greatest common factor of 18 and 35. <br>
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find the factors of 18 and 35

Breaking into prime factors

18 = 2*9 = 2*3*3

35 = 5*7

There are no common factors so the greatest common factor is 1

The function f(x) is shown in this graph.
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

A maybe?

Step-by-step explanation:

by looking at the graph you can see there are two points with one being at (0, 3) (given) and the other being at (1, 1) (by looking at the graph). You can use the slope formula (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) which gives you the slope.

Plug Values In:

(1-3) / (1-0) = -2/1 = -2

slope of f(x) = -2

slope of g(x) = -7 (slope-intercept form y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept)

I'm honestly not quite sure what it means by greater than since technically the slope of f(x) is greater than the slope of g(x) but does it mean how much it's changing by in which case the sign doesn't matter. Although I'm just going to assume it purely means the value in which case A is true.

Solve the following equation 3 by X + 1 is equal to 5 by 2 X linear equation
dangina [55]

Answer:

  x  = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

A by B is simply \frac{A}{B}

    3 by x + 1 is \frac{3}{x + 1}

    5 by 2x is \frac{5}{2x}

So, the equality is ;

                \frac{3}{x + 1} = \frac{5}{2x}

Cross multiply and solve the inequality;

         3(2x) = 5(x + 1)

         6x  = 5x + 5

          6x -5x = 5

              x  = 5

Write each complex number in rectangular form.
hram777 [196]
Hello,

A)
cos 135°=- cos 45°=-√2/2
sin 135°=sin45°=√2/2
2(cos 135°+i sin 135°)=-√2 + i*√2

B)
cos 120°=-cos 30°=-√3 /2
sin 120°=sin 30°=1/2

3(cos 120° + i sin 120)=-3/2*√3 +i*3/2

C)
cos (5π/4)=-cos (π/4)=-√2 /2
sin (5π/4)= -sin(π/4)=-√2 /2
5(cos (5π/4)+i sin (5π/4))=-5/2*√2 +i *5/2*√2

D)
cos(5π/3)=cos(π/3)=√3 /2
sin (5π/3)=-sin(π/3)=-1/2

4(cos(5pi/3)+i sin (5pi/3))
=2√3- 2*i
