Answer: The agricultural act, established the first major government program to help farmers maintain crop prices with a federally sponsored Farm Board that would make loans to national marking cooperatives or set up corporations to buy surpluses and raise prices. This act failed to help American farmers. In the U.S., the first step for agricultural marketing was initiated by the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1929. The Act was introduced as a measure to stop the downward twisting of crop prices. The Act sought to help farmers in buying, selling, and storing agricultural surpluses.

Explain the geographic context for the use of coal to power industrialization in Great Britain in the late 1700s
professor190 [17]

Great Britain’s coal resources come from sediments from the Carboniferous age – 300 million years ago-, which rotted under anoxic conditions of sands, silts and mudstones and extend under the North Sea and onshore lands of Northumberland, Durham, North and South Wales, Yorshire, East and West Midlands, Kent, Lancashire and the Scottish Centrl Belt. It took more than ten thousand years to the peat for reaching a thickness of ten metres, enough to make about one metre of coal under the increasing pressure of sediments. Mostly, minig settls in the 1700s  were carved, structured with tree trunks and branches and covered with bricks unto 150 foot depth. People always worked there in terrible conditions, including women and children.

Most of it was conquered from Mexico not bought, as a result of the Mexican War of 1846, the rest was I guess you could say "bought" through the Gadsden purchase for 10 million dollars.

Read the excerpt from act 3, scene 1, of Julius Caesar. [ANTONY.] First, Marcus Brutus, will I shake with you— Next, Caius Cassi
Semmy [17]

Although it is a little bit confusing to discern the various options, the best summary of this monologue is Antony shakes the hands of all the conspirators and says he knows that his love for Caesar puts him in an unstable position. Then he imagines that it would break Caesar’s heart to see Antony making peace with his assassins.

This scene takes place right before Antony's praising oration over Caesar's corpse, and right after Brutus's speech in defense of their actions. Antony sincerely shakes the hands of the perpetrators, but, by doing so, he acknowledges that they might judge him as a coward or a flatterer, who is afraid of sharing Caesar's fate, and that Caesar's spirit might suffer from seeing him doing that.

(Mark) Antony was a supporter of Julius Caesar and had served as his general, and when, as part of a conspiracy, he was assassinated at the hands of various Roman senators on the Ides of March of 44 BC, he eventually became his successor. He, nevertheless, spared the assassins a punishment, but eventually fought against two of them, Brutus and Cassius, in a civil war.

Why did President Nixon think that U.S. forces should not abruptly withdraw from Vietnam?
kondaur [170]
<span>Nixon and National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger agreed that withdrawal was not feasible because the political costs, both domestic and international, were unacceptable. Withdrawal would dissolve Nixon's political base at home and undermine American credibility abroad.

Hope this helps :)
