Answer:

How does Sophocles view leadership?

Leaders are powerful people who prove their ability to assist others. Throughout the years, humanity attempts to have an upright, yet rigorous, rule. Great leaders have induced goals that represent the needs of both the leader and their people.

What message might he have for those watching his play in Ancient Greece based on the monologues in Scene 3 and the prophecy delivered to Creon in Scene 5?

Persistence in finding the truth is the theme the pushes Oedipus through the process of his tragic downfall. It is this persistence that leads him to realize he has fulfilled the prophecy he thought he had escaped, and in turn leads to his ultimate ruin. Action vs. punishment is what starts and ends the play

I’m not sure if it’s still relevant   today

How does the author develop a particular perspective in the poem "The Sirens"?
Alecsey [184]

The author gives human characteristics to non human entities as the Sea, the Ocean, the waters in order to better show the emotional tension of the narrator. There is an opposition between the dreariness of the first part which shows that the author fears death and the second part where he is tempted by the peace that death can offer. This tension shows the somehow, death may be attractive to the author yet it is also frightening. The opposition of two elements that are yet mutually attracted reinforces the dramatic tension.
