Difference between organic sedimentary rocks and other sedimentary rocks:

Organic sedimentary rocks:

They are formed form the wastes of animal, plants and other living organisms.
Coal, demolites,Coral reefsetc are the examples.
These are rich in carbon.
They form in the area where there are low amount of oxygen exists.

Other sedimentary rocks:

These are formed from the formation of precipitation of dissolved materials or from the mechanical weathering.
Breccia, sandastone,shale,etc are the examples.
These are rich in calcium.
They can form anywhere.
