please help.. ENGLISH HELP What is the scariest part of "The Lottery" and what lead to it? please explain in a few sentences.
34kurt
I personally read this book. The Lottery is an event where one person is chosen to be stoned to death for "good and plenty crops."

Me personally, the scariest part of "The Lottery"  is how everyone turns so evils so quickly. At first it seems like a nice day. The children are playing and friends are talking. But, because Tessie got the black dot on her paper, her friends were the first to cast stones at her and even the children were given rocks to kill a woman.

Good luck! :)
