Tamiku [17]

The excerpt supports the theme that it is wise to follow the advice of trusted friends.

What is the theme of Odyssey?

The Odyssey of Homer is a Greek epic poem that tells of Odysseus' return journey to Ithaca from the Trojan War, which Homer addressed in The Iliad. According to Greek legend, the war lasted ten years.

Odysseus plots his vengeance while disguised with the help of Athena. He defeats the treacherous suitors with the help of Telemachus and a few loyal servants.

Finally, the family has been reunited. Odysseus has discovered the distinction between cunning and wisdom, and that the latter is essential to life and happiness.

Thus, the excerpt supports the theme that it is wise to follow the advice of trusted friends.
