Is 3x-15=2(x-5)+x always true or never true
In-s [12.5K]
I’m not sure what you mean. But if you are talking about, 3x-15=2 the answer would not be x-5 it would be x= 17/3. So that means your answer would be not true. If I’m explaining the wrong thing comment and lmk :) !

Cosx - 4 = sinx -4<br> (0,2pi)<br>Find solutions
lutik1710 [3]
\bf cos(x)-4=sin(x)-4\implies cos(x)=sin(x)\implies \cfrac{cos(x)}{sin(x)}=0&#10;\\\\\\&#10;cot(x)=0\implies \measuredangle x=cot^{-1}(0)\implies \measuredangle x=\frac{\pi }{2}~~,~~\frac{3\pi }{2}

A garden table and a bench cost $1000 combined. The garden table costs $100 more than the bench. What is the cost of the bench?
bogdanovich [222]
Let $x be the cost of the bench, then $x+100 is the cost of the table
x+x+100=1000
2x=900
x=450
So the cost of the bench is $450

Round 11,900 to the nearest thousand.
Natasha2012 [34]
12,000, because 11,900>11,500, so you round it up to 12,000
