melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Descartes.

Explanation:

René Descartes was a philosopher that introduced the concept that is now known as "Mind-body dualism" and it says that body and mind refers to different entities that are made of different substances.

Descartes was the first philosopher that talked about this by saying that the mind was an immaterial entity that can imagine, think, generate ideas. While the body is a physical entity governed by the laws of physics.

However, he also said that, in a human being, mind and body, although separated from each other, are somehow related and can influence one another.

In this example, Louisa is writing an essay that discusses the concept of dualism (the mind and body are separate but connected parts of a person). As we said before, this concept was first introduced by Descartes and therefore, she should pay attention to Descartes writings.

PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE BRAINLY ASAP What economic issues are or could be causes of conflict in Southwest Asia? Why do these issue
Ivanshal [37]

The economic issue that could be a cause of conflict in Southwest Asia are subsidies (government giving money to industries or businesses to keep prices low) especially in the areas of oil and natural gas.

Subsidy issues lead to conflict because they were initially meant to protect those that needed assistance but in reality seemed to benefit the rich and powerful. Once subsidies were in place they were difficult to remove because they were seen to be a “right”. Once they were taken out of place, Middle Eastern citizens were upset due to unreasonably high prices. This led to many subsidies being put back into effect.

The issue of subsidies often leads to conflict due to political regime changes causing shifts in opinions.
