The New deal program was series of economic program created by President Franklin Roosevelt to benefited the population of farmers, the unemployed, youth, elderly citizens etc

These programs aimed to re-inflate the economy after prices had fallen sharply for effective economy recovery post-great depression.

Some research by an organization does indicated that New Deal labor and industrial policies prolonged the Depression by seven years.

The research indicated that in the late 1930s, the New Deal policies began to reverse which coincided with the beginning of the recovery of the economy.

In conclusion, we might have to agree that the New Deal policy by Roosevelt does prolonged the Great Depression.
