The two types of conflicts reflected in this passage are character versus self and character versus character.

Character versus self and character versus character?

In this passage of the text it is very clear that the character was trying to beat his brother, but instead of focusing on giving his best, he was only thinking about what his brother was doing, wanting to do better, confirming that the character had a conflict with his brother, but he discovered that his conflict was with himself.

With this information, we can conclude that the two types of conflicts reflected in this passage are character versus self and character versus character.

teenagers often have different sleep habits than adults. would you oppose or support moving the start and finish time of school
Svetradugi [14.3K]
I would oppose it. Studies show teens biological clocks naturally want to go to bed later and wake up earlier. By making school and hour earlier this makes teens more groggy especially because their bodies do not want to go to sleep earlier so this can cause sleep deprivation which will make school work less concentrated and makes teens attitudes about school worsen.

Explain what this quote means.
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

So this is actually great for what we are going through world wide with racism and all this other stuff. People expect things to change but they don't want to start the change. So nothing gets done. If you want something done/changed then you have to do it. Don't wait for anyone else just do it because they will most likely follow along because you started it.
