The excerpt from Hidden Figures is told in past tense, from a third person point of view.

The third person point of view.

In this view, the narrator appears to exist outside the story and addresses the character by his name or as he/she/they and him/her/them.

In the story, it is seen that it is narrated in the past tense and also made use of the third person point of view as the names of the characters were known and called.

Why are astronauts given psychological evolution
julsineya [31]

Answer:

They are given psychological evolution because they go through changes in space due to the lack of gravity. The most common are adjustment reactions to the novelty of being in space, with symptoms generally including transient anxiety or depression. Psychosomatic reactions also have occurred, where anxiety and other emotional states are experienced physically as somatic symptoms.

Difference between talk,talking,talked,and talken?

Learning English:P
sdas [7]
Talk: if the word "did"(helping verb) is in front of the word it is meaning that someone spoke in the past, but if the helping verb "will" is before the word it means that someone is going to speak in the future (most likely about to start talking)

talk-"ing": the same thing as "talk" EXCEPT "ing" is a suffix which means presently, so "talking" means that someone is currently speaking.

talk-"ed": once again the same thing, however, the suffix "ed" means already DID or in the past.

talk- "en": actually this is sadly not an english word, but the suffix "en" means made of. For example, "golden" means MADE OF gold.

Hope this helped:)
