How did the reality of combat in World War I compare to the beliefs and attitudes many Europeans had about war before fighting b
koban [17]

Answer:

The reality of war was in stark contrast to the previous beliefs and attitudes Europeans had.

Explanation:

Pre-war Europe included many nations that celebrated their military. To fight was to be honorable and glorious. However, in the Great War, warfare was much more gruesome than previously. The introduction of gas attacks, trench warfare, and other technological/military "improvements" caused lives to be needlessly lost for little to nothing in advancements. During and after the war, people began to realize that it wasn't worth it and the youth suffered terribly.

I think that it is important to study history whilst you have the chance as if you done you may regret it .History gives you a wide range of opportunities careers and vocabulary. You benefit from history due to the amount you learn in it .Everything you learn is based on a certain time period which could help you in other lessons .

Without history you will not be able to understand questions about time periods in your GCSE as they won’t become clear .The two questions are how do we know that all of these events happened as we don’t have much evidence
