The cultural setting of "Red Cranes" most clearly influences how Mie  experiences the world in that;

  • Mie decides to pursue an education from her mother who teaches  Mie to read and write, even though she lives in a rural area.

The story, "Red Cranes" by Jacey Choy is set in a rural part of Japan. There, Mie's parents make a living from their farmland.

Yuki, Mie's father goes to the farm while her mother tends to the home. Despite their lowly background, Mie has very huge dreams.

What are the settings in the Shakespeare Stealer? Can anybody come up with as much as they can?
murzikaleks [220]

The Shakespeare Stealer is a 1998 historical fiction novel by Gary Blackwood. Taking place in the Elizabethan-era England, it recounts the story of Widge, an orphan whose master sends him to steal Hamlet from The Lord Chamberlain's Men. If we skip the opening setting of Mistress MacGregor's orphanage, then the three settings of The Shakespeare Stealer are the rectory in "the nearby hamlet of Berwick"; the home of Mrs. and Dr. Timothy Bright, a medical practitioner who had studied at Cambridge and who was also the rector of Berwick; Simon Bass's home in Leicester; and the city on the Thames, London City, home of the Globe Theatre.

How does the structure of Whitman's poem the noiseless and patient spider contribute to the meaning of the poem
Leni [432]
An extended metaphor provides the overarching structure for the poem. The speaker begins by describing a spider that “stood isolated,” but that “launch'd forth” its threads to make its web over and over again. The poem's second stanza then establishes that the spider is a metaphor for the speaker's soul.

Why are rockets important to the space program? Answer choices for the above question Rockets are what blast off from Kennedy Sp
slamgirl [31]

Answer:

Rockets are what carry the payload into space.

Explanation:

Satellites are the main responsible for taking ships and other important equipment into space, leaving them there to promote beneficial actions for human beings. During the space race, it was important to promote equipment that would stay in orbit and allow us some privilege, for this reason, the setelites were so important for that moment, because without them it would be impossible to take this equipment into space, efficiently.
