Understanding the copyright status of images found online can be difficult but important as it will help to ensure that you stay

well within the law when using and/or posting online. Find three different images online that all have different copyright parameters (can use freely, must give credit to artist, can alter, etc.), with one of these images being in the public domain. Paste these images into your answer or describe them and explain the copyright status of each, clearly evaluating how and where you could use each image appropriately.

Copyright is a tool to protect the right that the owner has over his product.

What are copyrights?

Copyright is a tool that allows the author of a text, image, video, song, among others, to profit from their product and to have credit for its creation.

On the internet we generally find millions of images, however most of them are copyrighted so if we want to use them we must mention their author to give them credit for their creation.

On the other hand, there are public domain resources because the person who created them has no problem with others using them for different purposes. These resources should not be referenced because anyone can use them.
