He proposed a series of constitutional amendments and Congressional legislation aimed at averting war. Under the terms of the “Crittenden Compromise” the following were proposed, that: 

<span>* The Missouri Compromise line (36˚30’ north latitude) be extended through the territories to California; north of the line were to be free states and slave states to the south </span>
<span>* Congress would not attempt to regulate slavery where it then existed </span>
<span>* Congress would provide compensation for the owners of fugitive slaves.</span>

I would be the scribes person. That person is in charge of writing everything that happens such as in a market or an event that happened. The advantages is that writing is basicly your job. A disadvantage is that there is a variety of things you need to write such as about a battle.

During the British revolution, the Tax that being paid went to the Federal budget of the British Government in order to fund their wars.
On the other hand, if the civilians do not pay the taxes for their own taxes, they pretty much do not contribute to the infrastructure development of their own nation.
