ure helps us see that unchanging truth exists and that we cannot simply decide for ourselves what is true or false and right or wrong. Stories that remind us of absolute truth point to the existence of a Creator and help us see evidence of Him in Creation.

This question requires a personal opinion as an answer. An example of a personal opinion concerning the topic of how stories remind us of the absolute, unchangeable truth, is:

 • Work: "A Christmas Carol"
 • Theme: Compassion and generosity
 • Your opinion: Using the lens of Scripture as a standard for truth, we can say that the story does reflect the truths of God. The main character learns a valuable lesson concerning the sin of greed. He is taught that, to be truly happy in life, one must share one's time, company, and possessions.

Writing a personal opinion

Begin by asking yourself what your opinion is or how you feel about the topic. If necessary, do some researching or talk to people about it.

Take notes on what you think and try to come up with a way to explain it. If you were talking to a friend about this topic, how would you explain it in a way they can understand what you think?

Begin drafting your answer. Write your opinion clearly and than provide the explanation.

Correct any spelling or punctuation mistakes in your work.
