In chapter 4 of anything but typical, Jason Blake was explaining how him and his brother were nothing alike. Yet he was the one being blamed for his younger brothers behavior, as his mother said it was a “modeled behavior.”. Jason had also explained how he knew his mother had been protective of his younger brother, by caring him wherever she had went. He had given us detail of his grandmother and how he didn't truly care too much for her, along with the fact he'd rather be with his mother.

In library class, when another student occupies his favorite computer and refuses to accommodate him by moving, Jason grows frustrated, but can’t explain what is so upsetting. The librarian, Miss Leno, puts her hands on his shoulders and pushes him to an open computer. He knows she means well, but her touch is agonizing. Recalling a phrase his aide taught him for situations like this, he manages to say, “I am ok just as I am” (5). However, he is so fixated on getting onto that specific computer that he can’t stop himself from moving uncomfortably close to the girl, so that everyone will know he is next in line.

sattari [20]
The correct answer is a. tyler decided to give away toys, hoping it would give him more space.

"hoping it would give him more space." is an adverb clause for his reasoning behind it and is a clause that fulfills the purpose that you described. D doesn't' have a clause because it is a phrase, c is a phrase also, while b is a clause that is an adjectival clause.

Venus can often be seen IN THE NIGHT SKY.
A.adjective
B. adverb
C.appositive
mariarad [96]
The correct answer is B, adverb. Where can Venus often be seen? - In the night sky. Because you are looking for a location, it is an adverb, not an adjective.
And appositive would be, for example, 'Venus, which can often be seen in the night sky, is beautiful', where 'which can often be seen in the night sky' is appositive.
