Imagery means visual symbolism. <em>Imagery</em> simply refers to a figurative language that's used in the creation of<em> pictures, or images</em> in the mind of the reader.

<em>Imagery</em> appeals to the five senses of <em>touch, smell, hearing, sight,</em> and <em>taste. </em>The imagery supports the author’s purpose as it informs readers about <u>climate and culture</u>. The <em>climate</em> was described as being hot.
