if you had put arranged, adored, or anticipated, it would make the trash personified ( meaning feeling human emotions or doing human actions) Adored or anticipated would give it human emotions and arranged would make the trash do something it can't actually do in real life
If you said she was appalled, it would make sense, since trash is dirty and there is a lot of it in the oceans. Nobody wants that stuff in the oceans.
