Interpreting (1,15) with (4,60), found that (4,60) is 4 times of the coordinate (1,15).

<h3>What are coordinates?</h3>

A pair of numbers that describe the position of a point on a coordinate plane by using the horizontal and vertical distances from the two reference axes.

For interpreting we have to find the relation between (1,15) and (4,60)

We have, (1,15)

For x- coordinate 1, y- coordinate will be 15

Now,

let us take x- coordinate=2 then y- coordinate =30

again, if x-coordinate = 3 then y-coordinate  = 45

lastly, if the x-coordinate =4 then y-coordinate = 60

That means (4,60) is the 4 times of the coordinate (1,15) i.e., the x-coordinate is 4 times as well as the y- coordinate is 4 times.

What single decimal multiplier would you use to decrease by 2% followed by a 3% decrease?
Bumek [7]

<em><u>0.9506</u></em>

Step-by-step explanation:

here's the easy explanation:

We have 2% and 3%.

Take them both away from 100 since we're decreasing!

<em>100 - 2 = 98</em>

<em>100 - 3 = 97</em>

Divide them both by 100.

<em>98 --> 0.98</em>

<em>97 --> 0.97</em>

Times them both together!

<em>0.98x0.97 = 0.9506</em>

What is the distance between (-9, -2 ) and (-5, -5) ? Simplify your answer if possible. No decimals.
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the distance formula: \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

\sqrt{(-5-(-9))^2+(-5-(-2))^2} \\\\\sqrt{(4)^2+(-3)^2}\\\\\sqrt{16+9}\\\\\sqrt{25}\\\\5
