They inhibit ACE, there is no conversion to Ang II, the activation of bradykinins is inhibited and they accumulate creating adverse effects. jack thomas is a 45-year-old automobile mechanic with a history of throat cancer. jack has just undergone radical neck resection
Anna35 [415]

jack suffers from xerostomia, a dry mouth condition and prescribed pilocarpine therapy. The advice is, he should be cautioned about blurred vision and its hazards.

What Is Xerostomia?

Xerostomia is the dry mouth condition when we do not have enough amount of saliva in our mouth, Saliva is produced by salivary glands in the mouth.

Saliva helps in increasing the life of the tooth by neutralizing acids, enhance the ability to taste, limit bacterial growth around the tooth area and wash away any food particles, partial digestion of carbohydrate based food.

The symptoms include dryness or the feeling of stickiness in mouth, first sign before start developing any other symptoms, also experience thickness in your saliva due to lack of production of saliva in mouth, eventually, the mouth will start to feel thicker.

Bad breathing is the major symptom of Xerostomia caused by the lack of saliva in your mouth as saliva in mouth is capable of washing out any bacteria or food particles, do not enough saliva , the food is going to roast, and you will start experiencing bad breath.

people can also experience several difficulties like lack of saliva can also cause difficulty while chewing your food and to swallow it, also difficulty while speaking due to less lubrication in tongue area from saliva.

You ground your vitamin C tablet and dissolved the ground powder in 250. mL of water in a volumetric flask. The mass of the tabl
inna [77]

Answer:

0.2558 g

Explanation:

1.- In titration, since you have the concentration and the volume of the titrant and the aliquot that you take, you can use the formula C1 V1 = C2 V2.

2.- To obtain C2 = C1 V1  /V2

    Substitution C2 = (0.0149 M ) (9.75 ml) /25 ml = 0.0058 11 M

3.- This concentration is the number of moles that you would have in 1 L but you dissolve your tablet in 250 ml, so a rule of three.

4.- 0.005811 moles - 1 L

                     x        - 0.250 L

X= 0.250 L x 0.005811 moles / 1L = 0.00145275 moles

5.- using your molecular weight, you can obtain the grams with another rule of three.

0.00145275 moles -  x

                  1 mole - 176.12 g

x= 176.12 g  x 0.00145275 moles / 1 mole = 0.2558 g

Hope this was useful
