Violent media, aside from it's negetive nature is always subliminally viewed as "significant" due to it's dramatic nature, people subliminally associate news channels/programs/newspapers as informative and "keeping them in the know" because their brain feels they're absorbing "important" imformation, even though it's an illusion, violence is simply the subject that makes us feel "aware"; exactly what we're looking for from out new... Not joy obviously
