Social media and teen depression are closely linked. The overuse of the apps exposes teens to cyberbullying, body image anxiety and a multitude of other problems. But that doesn’t mean that social media is entirely bad thing for teens. For example a lot of people get help from online sources on social media and can even gain some confidence from other people online.
