The correct answer is:

D. He used force to remove the protestors.

During the summer of 1932 the "Bonus Army" was created.  It was composed by 43.000 marchers who gathered in Washington D.C. demanding cash-payment redemption of their service certificates. Douglas MacArthur was the one who commanded the infantry supported by six tanks. This was due to President Hoover's order of clearing the marcher's campsite.

Consider what Texas might be like if the oil industry did not exist in the state.]
liubo4ka [24]

Texas would be less prosperous and would have less number of cities being more rural.

Explanation:

The founding of the oil industry in Texas changed the state completely.

It had previously been one of the most stubbornly farming areas of the country where the whole population had been generational peasants and they were not looking to change that for long either.

This was until the oil was found and many manumitting and mining towns were set up which offered better jobs to many and took over the farms.

This would all not happen and the state would not be rich from the oil money instead being an agrarian economy with many Spanish speakers and in general not as much in bigger towns,
