Located at the southern tip of Africa's Great Rift Valley, Gorongosa National Park is home to an astounding diversity of animals and plants. Once known as "the place where Noah left is ark", wildlife populations were decimated by nearly two decades of civil war. What could be done to replace Southern economy, now that it was no longer relying on slavery *hint* they could no longer rely on sharecropping, they had to modernize The South, it had to industrialize itself if the economy was to be on par with the North.
