DDay helped the Allied Forces strengthen their position in Axis territories. Due to DDay the Axis Forces started to fall apart as the invasion took a huge toll on their resources and the Axis's War Machine. This contributed to a long spiral of the Nazi's Wehrmacht falling apart and to the eventual close of World War II.
