The farmers of the deccan plateau majorly depend on summer monsoons in order to farm and Option C is correct.

What is farming?

Farming is a process by which food crops, vegetables and fruits can be generated through natural processes. Seeds are sown in the soil and are watered along with providing proper manure in order to harvest good crops.

The deccan plateau is a region which has a very low rainfall throughout the year and the region remains dry for most of the months in the year making it difficult to farm.

However, summer monsoons bring ample amount of rainfall that could be utilized for irrigation and farming allowing farmers to grow crops and food.
