In the introduction to the guide that Facing History and Ourselves created for his film Schindler’s List, Steven Spielberg wrote

of the Holocaust, “Even today the world has not yet learned the lesson of those terrible years. There are far too many places where hate, intolerance, and genocide still exist. Thus Schindler’s List is no less a “Jewish story” or a “German story” than it is a human story. And its subject matter applies to every generation.” To what extent is he describing “our century’s hatred”?

It can be inferred that Steven Spielberg describes "Our Century's Hatred" as a human phenomenon, one that applies to every generation of humans existing and extinct.

Review lines 16-20. The poet rhymes sigh with / less travelled by. What conclusions can you draw about the speaker’s attitude or
forsale [732]

Answer: In lines 16-20, the rhyme scheme abaab is used. The mood expressed through the words is that of wistfulness and reminiscence.

Sentimentality is also known to be manipulative. Oftentimes, sentimentalism obscures the facts of an actual event. Indeed, in this stanza, the narrator changes what he said earlier in the poem (that the two paths "had worn... really about the same") and states "I took the one less traveled by, / And that has made all the difference." This is a sentimental trick. He views his actions as having made all the difference, but he actually chose the path almost at random. These sounds ("I") add to this wistful, sentimental shift.
