suggest that even after the fighting has ended, soldiers continue to suffer the psychological consequences of war? but someone still was yelling out and stumbling and floundering like a man in fire or lime.-- dim, through the misty panes and thick green light as under a green sea, i saw him drowning. in all my dreams, before my helpless sight, he plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning. if in some smothering dreams you too could pace behind the wagon that we flung him in, and watch the white eyes writhing in his face,

It can be inferred that the last two lines that speak to the aftereffects of the war are:

 • Lines 5 and 6; and
 • Lines 7 and 8.

What do the lines infer?

The lines above make references to dreams that evoke horror. Thus, they in a way communicate that the person having them is not totally free from the effects of the war.

See the referenced lines below:

5) In all my dreams, before my helpless sight,

6) He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.

7) If in smothering dreams you too could pace]

8) Behind the wagon that we flung him in,...

How is the repetition of "you" in this sentence an effective rhetorical technique
Paladinen [302]
It would help if you gave us the sentence to figure out the question.

The repetition of "you" in any sentence would imply that the speaker is talking to a group of people or one person in particular as in yourself.

Read the excerpt from Blanca Flor.
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

Words that indicate speech, such as “asked” and “said”.

Explanation:

The story of Blanca Flor revolves around the two protagonists Juanito and Blaca Flor who escaped the magic domain of Don Ricardo. Blanca Flor helped Juanito escape the evil man with the assistance of her own magical abilities.

The two given versions of the same scene show Don Ricardo being given the freshly baked loaf of bread by Juanito. The first is the play version while the second part is the narrative adaptation. And while there is not much difference between the two versions, there is one such point where their difference can be detected. It is the use of words such as "asked" and "said" that indicates speech in the two characters, which is not present in the play/ drama version.

Thus, the correct answer is the last/ fourth option.
