LenKa [72]

Answer:

The central idea of Rudyard Kipling's "Smuggler's Song" is to "warn the readers  about smuggling and advice them to be careful on what they say whenever they see them"

Explanation:

Kipling wrote this poem about smugglers in the area he lived. He wrote to  warn the readers about smuggling and how to be careful with their words if  should see them.

This can be seen in the words in one of the lines:

"<em>You be careful what you say"</em> and the words "<em>Don't you tell where no one is".</em>  These implied to tell them to keep the whole smuggling operaton a secret.

The stanzas consists of 8 stanzas . It was written in a narrative style with each stanza covering the same topic.

The speaker in this poem is Rudyard Kipling.

The speaker helps to create a mood where the reader can viualize what was truly happening in this poem. At this moment in time, the speaker tends to address a young child explaining how to act and behave around the smugglers and the guards as well.
