Answer:

Pennisulars; CREOLES

Explanation:

The image attached can be used to help describe the social structure during the Latin American bustling age periods. Peninsulars were clearly ruling and leading on top of the social class and those who were enslaved and forced to work were roughly found at the bottom of each social class standard. Those at the bottom of the social class (CREOLES) structure were particularly angry about this because they felt politically inferior to the peninsulares. The Creoles felt betrayed by Spain and threatened by the peninsulares' position, leading them to seize political control of their homeland.

harkovskaia [24]
Actually, these two novels could be said to express all of these themes and ideas. However, the authors of these two novels, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway, are considered by many critics, scholars, and historians to belong to what is known as "the lost generation" of American writers. Hemingway and Fitzgerald, in fact, have been considered to be the "leaders," in a sense, of the "lost generation" of American writers, especially given their mutual expression of purpose for the post World War I generation in their novels.
