The main idea of chapter 7 is that Tripheana gives money so she can use the stage because, she doesn't want Lyddie to die. When the stage coach got stuck Lyddie, she helps fix the problem and helps the homeless man passenger on. The coachman impressed, takes her to his sisters boarding school in Lowell. Hope that helps
