A dependent clause  is one that needs no additional information to communicate meaning. The dependent and independent clauses are indicated as categorized below.

Dependent clause:

1) Even though they were exhausted from their long day,

2) to name just a few of his contributions to science

3) which is being taught at the community center this winter

4) After a huge victory last week

Independent clause:
