Which key details should be included in an effective summary of the "Address to the Niagara Movement"?
Aneli [31]

After reading DuBois's "Address to the Niagara Movement," we can select the following answers as to what details should be included in an effective summary:

Yes – Members of the Niagara Movement seek to end segregation.

No – Progress has been made in reducing discrimination in some parts of the country.

No – Members of the Niagara Movement have worked hard all year.

Yes – Denying the vote to Black citizens contradicts American laws and values.

What is an effective summary?

 • An effective summary will restate, in fewer words, the main ideas presented in a text. Only the most essential, most important details must be included in the summary. Anything that is superficial or not necessary for understanding the central idea of the text can be eliminated.

What to include in a summary of "Address to the Niagara Movement"?

 • We can say the Address has three main ideas: injustice and discrimination against African Americans are getting worse; there are 5 demands that the members of the movement make; and depriving African Americans of their rights contradicts the laws and the Constitution.
 • With that in mind, it is easier for us to judge the items and choose Yes or No for each of them.
 1. Yes. This is one of the demands expressed in the Address. Segregation and discrimination should end, according to DuBois.
 2. No. This is the opposite of what DuBois says. According to him, things have gotten worse.
 3. No. This is said in the introduction, and this work is not necessarily related to the movement. This information is not essential.
 4. Yes. This is one of the main ideas defended in the Address. African Americans are citizens and should not have their rights denied.

Shakespeare argument of creative character analysis
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

There are many exceptionally good stories that have been written by William Shakespearethroughout his time. The discourse of the characters in his stories are truly fascinating. Shakespeare'sstories are still extremely relevant today because discussing the plays could be an intriguingconversation, works from long ago can still be relevant, and the characters in his plays are relatable. To start off, there are many subjects that can be argued over or discussed about a Shakespeareplay. Shakespeare's stories can almost always ignite an interesting discussion. Sometimes they can evenbegin new friendships. Discovering that someone else has read a Shakespeare play can also possiblymake them be seen as more intelligent than someone who hasn't.In addition, I found a quote from an article written by Lori Gray talking about how she may nothave learned to like Shakespeare at a young age but that does not mean he is irrelevant.
