Does Andrew Carnegie believe that there is anything wrong with amassing wealth?
KATRIN_1 [288]
Yes, he does. In his essay "The Gospel of Wealth" (1889), he wrote: "... the amassing of wealth is one of the worst species of idolatry."
Although he is considered one of the richest American men to have ever lived, he himself was a philanthropist, believing that what was gained by society should be given back to society as well.

Describe ONE way in which one in which one European state developed migration policies after 1945.
Vinvika [58]
In the immediate postwar period, France was the only country in Europe to encourage permanent immigration. In this respect its policy resembled that of the United States. Yet, as elsewhere in Western Europe, France's recruitment of new workers halted with the first oil shock in 1973.

Furkat [3]
<span>He lived through Jim Crow. His father was killed by the Klan but his life insurance company wouldn't pay saying he committed suicide. His head was bashed so hard that his head was nearly severed. Couldn't have been suicide. His mother had a nervous breakdown and never recovered. Malcolm X was 6 years old at the time and spent his childhood in foster homes.

He broke the law as a young man and spent 6 years in prison where he became a Muslim. For years he hated whites. He became well educated by reading and became a black leader. Section 3: Essay (40 points)
KatRina [158]

Answer:

Explanation:

Around 1500 s.c., Aryans from Central Asia invaded and

<- 2000-1500 B.c.

I500-l 000 e.c.

+ 1000-500 B.c.

conquered the Indus Valley. They were nomadic warriors.

Over time they moved eastward into the plain around the

Ganges River and then south into the Deccan Plateau.

Most of what is known about the Aryans comes from the

Vedas. The Vedas are a collection of books containing prayers,

songs, and other writings of the Agrans.

The Aryans brought with them their own

language, religious beliefs, and social system.

They spoke an Indo-European language

known as Sanskrit. English, German,

Persian, Spanish, and French are some of

the languages that are based on the IndoEuropean language.

Like other ancient people, the Aryans

were po\rtheistic. Their chief deigr was

Indra, the god of war. Other deities

represented the natural world such as the

sky, air, and water. Priests called brahmans

offered sacrifices to the deities. Over time,

the people began to worship a single force

or power in the world known as Brahman.

The Aq,'ans developed a social system that

has had a lasting impact on Indian culture.

They divided the population into four

major categories, or castes. These four

castes were further divided into

thousands of subcastes. The castes

determined a person's occupation and

social class. Those not included in the

caste system were called Untouchables.

Over time, A5ran culture and its

caste system etpanded across much

of the Indian subcontinent. Aryan

kingdoms grew up in several areas,

especially on the vast plain around the Ganges River.

These became important centers of farming and trade.
