Por lo tanto, el valor de x e y es 5, 8.

¿Qué es el método de sustitución?

El método utilizado para resolver el sistema de ecuación, en este el valor de una variable se sustituye de una ecuación a otra para encontrar la solución.

Está dado

(x+1)/3 -(y-1)/2 = 1                 -----1

7x -4(x+y) = 4                      ------2

Resolviendo la segunda ecuación

7x -4x-4y = 4

3x -4y = 4

3x = 4+4y

x = (4+4y) / 3

Sustituyendo este valor en la ecuación 1

2(x+1) - 3(y-1) = 6

2x +2 -3y+3 = 6

2x -3y = 1

2(4+4y)/3 - 3y = 1

8 + 8y - 9y = 3

-y = -5

y = 5

x = 24/3 = 8

Por lo tanto, el valor de x e y es 5, 8.

If 5,000 beef cattle were slaughtered in one day at Tyson Foods and the average animal weight was 1,350 lbs. How many pounds of
krok68 [10]

Answer:

33,750,000 pounds of animals were processed during 5 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the average animal weight is 1350 lbs and 5,000 beef are slaughtered in one day, the total amount for one day would be: (1350)(5000) = 6,750,000 lbs.

Now we need to multiply this number by five since we want to know the total of pounds of animals processed during 5 days.

6,750,000 (5) = 33,750,000 pounds of animals.

2X+4=20+5X
A)1/2 B)-1/2 C)2 D)-2
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

It seems that your options aren't correct as the right answer is -5.3333... (recurring)

Step-by-step explanation:

1)  2x + 4 = 20 + 5x   (subtract by the smallest unknown)

  -2x                  -2x

2)  4        = 20 + 3x

    -20 -20 (now subtract each side by 20 as we want to leave the unknown on one side and another number on the other side.

3) -16       = 3x   (Divide each side by 3)

   ÷3        = ÷3

4) -5.33333... = x

Now we have found x but if you're unsure you can substitute to see if your answer is correct.

2 x -5.3333 + 4 = -6.6666

20 + 5 x -5.3333= -6.6665

Our answer is correct! (When answers are rounded, it is equal to the same thing).

Help pls, Which graph correctly shows point A representing z1 − z2 on a complex plane where z1 and z2 are complex numbers?
Marianna [84]

Answer:

The first diagram is the correct one

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the subtraction of two complex numbers (z1- z2) implies the use of the opposite for the real and imaginary part of the complex number that is subtracted (in our case of z2). When we do such, the complex number z2 gets reflected about the origin (0,0), and then the real components of the two numbers get added among themselves and the imaginary components get added among themselves.

The diagram that shows such reflection about the origin [ z2 = 3 + 5 i being converted into -3 - 5 i] and then the combination of real parts [-3 + 5 = 2] and imaginary parts [-5 i - 3 i = - 8 i], is the very first diagram shown.
