Answer:

A

Explanation:

It certainly isn't D. She didn't say "walking past him" for one thing.

C: for the same reason. The closed quotation mark of Dominic's also not in the right place.

B: I think is correct, but A is much cleaner.

I'd pick A. It just flows better.

STALIN [3.7K]
The answer is the first one because the others just make it seem like the person is sad or simply talking. Meanwhile, the first option makes it seem like the person is excited and happy to get a ticket and go to the concert.

Which passage most clearly uses a logos appeal?
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

A. Knowing that the attack might reach us in all too short a time, we

immediately began greatly to increase our industrial strength and

our capacity to meet the demands of modern warfare.

Explanation:

The attack is coming quickly so the logical thing to do is to prepare. The other examples are motivational or pathological statements while the first one (A) uses a clear and methodical string of thought to find a solution for the coming attack.

(If a picture type thing helps you: attack coming soon---what do we do?---begin to prepare for the attack immediately.)
