Herbal medicine is derived from plants only while orthodox medicine involves a whole complicated system of doctors, nurses, etc. One can not get medicine unless it is prescribed by a doctor on the basis of symptoms and diagnosis.
Herbal medicines are far more affordable and easily available. Meanwhile, Orthodox medicines are difficult to get and their prices keep on fluctuating depending on the market demand.
Herbal medicines also consist of a combination of active ingredients along with many antioxidants, however, orthodox medicines contain a single active ingredient.
