I think the purpose of this text is to show that the street children still want what everyone else has and takes for granted and if given the chance this one child would rather help others achieve this instead of leaving them behind. It helps the reader see that homeless people still have the basic need to have love, affection,food,shelter and access to medical care and should not be overlooked or ignored.
Needs to have a meaning. Doesn't need to rhyme, you can freestyle.
Try to become her friend first; try to get to know her better, and slowly but surely start hinting at your feelings towards her, and see how it goes.
From what I remember and what I've read there was a lot of "madness" "morbid" and seemingly made up diagnosis by husbands of their wive's "hysteria". A lot of stories portrayed people as being "manic," "delirious," "withdrawn," "depressed" (melancholy). I hope this helps.
