Answer: C) A<span> repeated symbol that has important significance to understanding the themes of the play

-----

A motif is a symbol that keeps showing up in a piece of literature and connects to a theme. You other most likely choice would have been choice B (which is the definition of a symbol), but choice B doesn't mention a connection to a theme, which is what is found in a motif.

Write a figurative language poem.
Dima020 [189]
I made one :D

Trust is a shiny  crystal sheet of glass,
Not something to take advantage of.
                             It's not a little girl's pig-tailed doll,
That, when her brother tears it's head off,
                                   Can easily be replaced.
                            When you break someones trust,
You almost never get it back.
It disappears down the road of no return.
It is limited within a person,
And it's something that isn't missed,
                                       Until it's cracked,
                                           Shattered,
                                               gone.
