Blood sugar level is too low. Pancreas releases glucagon to stimulate the glucose production in the liver and maintain adequate plasma glucose concentrations to convert stored glucagon and fat back into glucose to be released in the blood. Blood sugar levels increases.

Defensive chemicals are usually found in unripe fruit but not in ripe fruit. In terms of coevolution, why might this be?
vichka [17]
The basic reason why unripe fruits have defensive chemicals is that they need to protect the seeds that are not ready to germinate. On the other hand, the seeds of the ripe fruits are ready to germinate and so they need to get spread with the help of animals and birds and so there are no defensive chemicals. These seeds spread to different places and the soils help them to germinate under suitable conditions.

When cattle are dehorn end, the corneal process of which bone is removed
ahrayia [7]
The corneal process of the frontal bone is removed, because a horn is actually just developed around it. This exposes the frontal sinus. That's why it's good to dehorn them while they're young because when older, the bone and the horn join together.
