The summary of the political philosophy of John Locke is the dismissal of the divine right of kings and advocacy for natural rights.

Who was John Locke?

He was an English philosopher that was one of the fathers of Enlightenment thinking and considered the father of liberalism.

Hence, we can see that the divine right of kings was one that was popular in those times about the rulership rights that were transferred from generation to generation, but he advocated for natural rights.

Why were the citizens of Washington, DC, not allowed to vote in presidential elections until 1961?
Pani-rosa [81]
They did not have any electors to represent them
In the Congress, there is no representative from Washington D.C despite the fact that it has more than the required number of residents living in Washington D.C. This is also because Washington D.C used to be a District of Columbia. Aside from that, the Washington D.C used to be the home of many African-Americans in the United States. In the 1801, the people were given the rights under the representation of Maryland or Virginia but were stopped because of the Organic Acts. It had been a struggle for the Americans living in the United States.

Which of the following events happened during president Harding’s term
Lyrx [107]

You didn't list options, but I'll suggest an item which famously occurred during Warren G. Harding's presidency:

The Teapot Dome Scandal

This was a scandal in which one of President Harding's cabinet members illegally leased oil reserves. President Harding was not directly implicated in the scandal, but was affected by it. After President Harding transferred supervision of the naval oil-reserve lands from the navy to the Department of the Interior in 1921, Secretary of the Interior Albert Bacon Fall secretly gave Harry Sinclair of the Mammoth Oil Company exclusive rights to the Teapot Dome reserves in Wyoming. He granted a similar deal to another oil company executive. The secret leases came under Congressional investigation. Congress directed President Harding to cancel the leases, and the Supreme Court ruled that Harding's transfer of authority to Interior Secretary Fall had been illegal. The whole affair took a toll on President Harding's health. He died in office in 1923.
