Answer:

The statement that best explains how effectively the passage uses vivid description is that... the vivid description is not effective because it's too bland to create vivid images of Mr. Garcia's life.

Explanation:

His life is sort of told in a sequence, you can't really feel any emotion like excitement when learning about his life because there are no words used to describe the sensory imagery.

HOPE that helps!

If a reader comes upon an unknown word while reading, she should: a skip it use context clues to try and figure out what it mean
Ann [662]

Answer:

Use context clues to try and figure out what it means.

Explanation:

For instance, if a book said "the man saw his missing treasure, and he was crestfallen," you could assume that the word "crestfallen" meant something like "disappointed" because if someone had missing treasure, they probably would be sad or angry.

In the hunger games which character has the most influence and why
Marrrta [24]

im sorry i am so late to this, cant believe nobody has answered this easy question! probably katniss, because of all the people she inspired. in the beginning of the books she was seen as a weak looking girl who volunteered for her sister. but in the second and third books, you can see how much she is looked up to and idolized.
