CO is poisionous and CO2 is non toxic in nature.
CO forms complex with haemoglobin which is more stable than complex of oxygen with haemoglobin. The concentration range of 3-4 % of CO decreases the oxygen carrying capacity of blood. This causes headache, weak eyesight, nervousness and cardiovascular disorders. Higher concentration can be fatal. CO2 is harmful at a very high concentration.

Which of these materials will decay the fastest to one-fourth of its original amount?
gtnhenbr [62]
The elements listed in the choices are radioactive materials. These materials are very unstable because of the high neutron-to-proton ratio in the nucleus. Because of this, they spontaneously undergo nuclear reactions by giving off sub-particles in order to lower the ratio. They emit radiation in the form of alpha, beta or gamma.

Half-life is the length of time it needs to completely react half of the original amount. For example, it would take Bismuth 60.5 seconds to use up half of its amount. Therefore, the lower the half-life the faster the reaction is and the lesser the residual amount will be. With that being said, the answer would be Bismuth because it only takes seconds.

Why are wasps important
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

Wasps provide pest control. While they can also kill some beneficial insects, they can be helpful in eating crop-destroying bugs such as grubs, caterpillars and weevils. They are so useful in this respect that farmers will sometimes ship wasps in as a natural pest control for their crops. Now that’s an all-natural pesticide
