To write a 5 paragraph narrative:

  • First, you start with a topic sentence that summarizes your point.
  • The second paragraph should be the start of your first body paragraph which supports and expands the topic presented in the introductory paragraph.
  • The next paragraph is the second body developing the idea and should introduce second viewpoint to support the topic.
  • This fourth paragraph should present final ideas.
  • This final paragraph should be an important part where an explanation is given on what has been learned, how this ill help in the society, and generally summarize the topic.
