The full form of DOD is Directive of Defense is the branch of the defense system in the united states of America which is included in the federal government. It looks after all the agencies functioning and supervising it in order to protect the nation.

DOD is responsible for the national security of the united states. DOD also governs the counterintelligence awareness and report in the DOD Directive 5240.06 in which the training to the personnel is given for 30 days.

It conduct the series of the activities in order to prevent espionage and collect the information about the assassinations and various other activities.
