Protest is referred to as action representing disagreement upon any concept or situation. There are various types of protest conducted which includes both violent and nonviolent protest.

The protest mentioned in the passage is a violent protest which injured two people. The issue raised in the passage about banning the burning flags.

There should be a ban on burning of flags as the national flag is the symbol of respect, pride, and patriotism towards the country. Burning the flag will create conflicts among citizens based on their feelings.

Amendment in the Bill of rights is required people are considering it as the freedom to express and speech. The amendment in the bill can be made by discussing that people are free to speak their thoughts but they are not supposed to destroy the national property or hurts the sentiments of millions of citizens.
