Who has authority at Buna? Where does that authority come from? How do those with authority use their power over others?

English

Those in authority in Buna are the German officers and the Kapos. That authority comes from their titles and they oppressively use that power.

Who were the Kapos?

 • They were prisoners of war.
 • They were prisoners in Nazi concentration camps.
 • They were in charge of leading other prisoners.

German officers had all the authority in the concentration camps of their professional positions. Kapos were chosen by these officers and gained authority above other prisoners.

This authority made kapos and German officers extremely aggressive, violent, and oppressive.

Which of the following is a fragment?
Musya8 [376]
The correct answer is C. The canoe with the blue stripes. This is a fragment because it does not convey meaning on its own and has to have another part of the sentence, usually a predicate that would describe what the canoe was doing. Other sentences can stand on their own and convey meaning and do not need any more additions.
