To write the essay you must decide whether genetically modified foods are beneficial or harmful to humanity and the environment.

Essay structure

 • Introduction: Introduce the subject of the essay.

 • Thesis statement: Show your opinion that will be your main argument on the subject.

 • Body: Write two paragraphs or more. The first paragraph will be where you will defend your thesis statement, showing evidence and facts that prove your main argument. In the second paragraph, you will present an argument contrary to what you defended and show how incorrect this argument is.

 • Conclusion: Review your thesis statement and reinforce it by summarizing the entire essay.

An argumentative essay is one in which you show your opinions in the form of an argument, that is, you will show a statement and justify it with evidence taken from the articles you researched on the subject.

Define the following word using the meaning of the suffix. Use your dictionary if you are uncertain of the definition.
aksik [14]

Answer:

I believe it is the act of being solicitous.

Explanation:

The suffix -tude represents a state or condition while solicitous means "to express concern". While "characterized by being solicitous" could have been an answer, at the same time it does not make sense with the root word being solicitous. Characterize means "to describe the distinct nature of", or "be typical or characteristic of". Therefore, the act of being solicitous seems to be the correct option.
